MEP - Procurement Engineer/Manager

Responsibilities

1. Lead procurement activities for MEP systems and materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
2. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements and organizational goals.
3. Manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
4. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless procurement processes.
5. Analyze market trends, identify potential suppliers, and evaluate their capabilities to ensure best value for the organization.
6. Prepare and manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
7. Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with international standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
8. Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
9. Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and delivery delays.
10. Continuously monitor and evaluate procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement engineering and management
2. Strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems
