SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role)

To execute and supervise electrical and ELV system installation works at the project site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and timely completion of electrical and ELV packages as part of the overall MEP scope.

SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Execute and monitor electrical and ELV installations including HT/LT systems, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and BMS as per approved drawings and specifications.
2. Coordinate with civil and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and ELV works within the overall site activities.
3. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout installation and testing.
4. Inspect and verify installations, prepare snag lists, and ensure timely rectifications in coordination with vendors and subcontractors.
5. Support in preparation of material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements related to electrical and ELV systems.
6. Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical and ELV systems and ensure adherence to functional requirements.

Internal Stakeholders

1. Project & Execution Teams: For activity coordination and schedule integration.
2. QA/QC & Safety Teams: For progress updates, inspections, and quality adherence.
3. Stores & Procurement Departments: For material availability and inventory updates.

External Stakeholders

1. Subcontractors & Vendors: For execution support, installation, and material deliveries.
2. Clients / Consultants / PMCs: For inspections, approvals, and compliance checks.
3. Statutory & Government Authorities: For electrical safety certifications and compliance inspections.

SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE

1. Minimum Qualifications: ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
2. Language Skills: Proficient in English; knowledge of local language preferred for site communication.

EXPERIENCE

1. Years of Experience: 3 – 22 years.
2. Nature of Experience: Experience in electrical and ELV installation, supervision, and testing at construction project sites, with exposure to coordination with multidisciplinary teams and compliance management.
