SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY

The Team Member – Plant & Machinery (P&M) – Cluster is responsible for supporting the deployment, operation, and maintenance of construction equipment across various project sites in the cluster. The role ensures that machinery is well-maintained, properly utilized, and operated in compliance with safety and operational standards under the guidance of senior P&M personnel.

SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Deployment & Inspection: Assist in the deployment, inspection, and operational readiness of plant and machinery across multiple sites.
2. Preventive Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance, lubrication, and servicing equipment as per preventive maintenance schedules.
3. Breakdown Support: Support breakdown maintenance activities by coordinating with OEMs, vendors, and site teams for quick resolution.
4. Asset Tracking: Record equipment logs, service history, and operational data for asset tracking and reporting.
5. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to standard safety procedures during operation and maintenance of equipment.

Internal Stakeholders

1. Site Execution Teams: Coordination for equipment availability and site requirements.
2. Cluster P&M Engineers and Technicians: Operational support and technical guidance.

External Stakeholders

1. Vendors and Spare Part Suppliers: Procurement and delivery of necessary components.
2. Equipment OEMs and Local Service Providers: Technical support and specialized servicing.

SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Knowledge

1. Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering or ITI with relevant specialization.
2. Language Skills: Proficiency in local language is essential; basic knowledge of English preferred.

Experience

1. Years of Experience: 3–15 years.
2. Nature of Experience: Practical experience in handling daily operations, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of construction equipment and machinery at project or cluster level.
