Energy Analyst (CEFD)

Job Title: Energy Analyst

Qualification: B.E / M.Tech in Mechanical / Thermal

Experience: 8 to 12 years in the relevant field

Position Type: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Perform energy simulations in compliance with ASHRAE / ECBC standards / Green Building Guidelines – LEED, GRIHA, IGBC.
2. Develop energy models for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings using Design Builder / IES / e-Quest software.
3. Analyse building performance data and provide energy efficiency recommendations.
4. Assist project teams in designing energy-efficient and sustainable buildings.
5. Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various design parameters on energy performance.
6. Evaluate and document HVAC system performance, lighting, and envelope characteristics.
7. Work with architects, MEP engineers, and sustainability teams to optimize energy consumption.
8. Support documentation and submission of energy models for green building certifications.
9. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in energy modelling techniques and standards.
10. Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

1. 8 - 12 years of experience in energy simulation, building performance analysis, and energy efficiency consulting.
2. Expertise in energy modelling software such as Design Builder, IES-VE, eQUEST.
3. Professional Green Building accreditations such as LEED AP, WELL AP, IGBC AP, GRIHA CP, BEE Energy Auditors are a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1, LEED energy modelling guidelines, IGBC & GRIHA rating systems.
5. Familiarity with MEP systems, HVAC design, and building envelope optimization.
6. Ability to interpret energy simulation results and provide practical recommendations.
7. Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
8. Capability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
